The Y WA Family Day Care is a unique and rewarding child care solution for many Western Australian families.

We believe that learning happens best in a home environment that is safe and secure. Our Educators are Early Childhood Education Professionals who are registered and managed by the the Y WA Family Resource Centre in Busselton. Care for children are provided in the home of the Educator for up to four children under school age and three school aged children.

The Y WA performs stringent recruitment processes, ensuring all Educators maintain current qualification requirements and adhere to our Safeguarding Children and Young People Policy.

Family Day Care fosters strong, capable and competent learners. Educators provide children and families with experiences that reflect their local community, and provides opportunity for siblings to be together in a child care setting. With flexible hours, weekend care and overnight care, Family Day Care is often the very best solution for many families.

How much does it cost?

Each educator is self-employed and sets their own fees, it is recommended that families discuss fees with their educator at the enrolment interview.

Are there rebates or assistance available?

Fee assistance is available to eligible families. Families are encouraged to contact Centrelink to ensure they have been assessed. Centrelink can be contacted on 13 61 50.
