Tambrey Early Learning Centre was purpose built by YMCA WA in partnership with Woodside, creating spacious and vibrant environments that encourage play and learning.

A fantastic nature escape area makes outdoor exploration a key feature of our centre.

Our centre offers a true community spirit with a high level of family involvement and participation. We only serve nutritious home-style food. Tambrey ELC is conveniently located on the school grounds of Tambrey Primary, ensuring a smooth transition into schooling.

Centre Director: Jacqui Mills

Hi there! My Name is Jacqui and I am the Centre Director at the Y Tambrey Early Learning Centre

I have been in the Pilbara for 21 years, starting my childcare journey in 2010 with a traineeship for Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care. By 2012, I had my Diploma in the same field. Beyond work, I cherish spending quality time with loved ones to re-fuel.

Since joining the Y in 2018, I’ve progressed through various roles, starting as a Room Leader, and advancing to an Educational Leader. This journey paved the way for me to become Assistant Director, and within a few months, Centre Director at Tambrey ELC. At Tambrey ELC, I’ve nurtured families and children, forged friendships and supported children’s learning and development.

As Centre Director I strive to create a wonderful, calm, and safe environment for all families and their child/ren to support their learning and development. My dedicated team share this vision, fostering relationships and tailoring support to cater for each child’s needs. Overall, our aim is to cultivate a sense of belonging for every child.

I look forward to meeting you and supporting the next generation into wonderful, confident individuals.
