Our programs are designed to meet the individual interests and needs of all children and support their learning journey. Our award winning nature escape outdoor environment plays a large role in shaping centre programs around nature play.

Our staff are passionate, dedicated and qualified early childhood educators, and we pride ourselves on offering extremely affordable fees. We offer places for children from birth (6 weeks) to 5 years and we only serve nutritious home-style food. We offer flexible hours to accommodate to all rosters, while providing access to a child health nurse. The centre is a member of Remida - a creative reuse centre that supplies recyclable materials to services for children to be creative with and learn about sustainability.

Centre Director: Jess

Hi there! My Name is Jess Church and I am the Centre Director at YMCA Baldivis Early Learning Centre

I have been involved with the childcare and early learning industry for over 13 years and also have a Diploma in Children's Services. Prior to becoming Centre Director at our Baldivis Early Learning Centre (ELC) I worked at our East Cannington centre for 9 years. 

In my time at East Cannington I  really enjoyed the uniqueness of the building and the character it provides. It really felt like home, and many families complimented us on this! So, I am looking forward to creating that same homely atmosphere at the Baldivis ELC. I am very excited because there's so much nature surrounding the centre which helps impact our children's senses and how they learn and develop.
