- Tennis Clinics - Tennis is a fun workout that enables you to socialise, exercise and improve your game. The Introduction level class guides you through the basics in a relaxed manner. The Experienced level class focuses on hitting lots of tennis balls, with emphasis on movement and match play.
- Ballet - A class for Adults who are new to ballet as well as those who are returning after a break. No prior experience required. Increase flexibility, gain core strength and improve posture through correct ballet stance. Tone areas such as the upper arms, spine, abdominals, quads and calves. Feel creative, learn new skills, relieve stress, have fun and DANCE. No leotards required but ballet shoes recommended. Wear clothing you are comfortable in.
PILATES PRINCIPLES - LEVEL 1
Dramatically transform the way your body looks, feels and performs with our specialised Pilates program. Pilates teaches body awareness and improves flexibility, ability and economy of motion. For every centimetre of inaccuracy, you decrease the effectiveness of a Pilates exercise by 40%. Based on this premise, instructors will have a “hands on” approach to ensure you achieve maximum results from every class.
Pilates classes are divided into three levels to cater for difference in abilities. Our 10 week Principles Level 1 course teaches the fundamentals of Pilates to allow participants to progress into the ongoing Level 2 classes. Discounted course fees available to Health Club members.
If you would like to learn some of your favourite songs, meet new friends in a non-threatening and social atmosphere, or just have some plain old-fashioned fun, then this is for you! EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST NOW BEING TAKEN.
This course will introduce students to the basic elements and principles of how light and atmosphere works and how to see light through an artistic eye. Mixing colours, tonal values, etc. will be covered as well as how to apply it to canvas. D'hange Yamanee has created a simple step by step method that is easy to understand. This technique will be demonstrated throughout this course.
